INSURANCE

We know that your insurance may be essential to your dental care. That’s why we recommend that you review your insurance policy before your appointment.

Many services that are necessary for your dental health are not covered under some plans. Patients are responsible for paying deductibles, co-pays, and other balances not paid by the insurance company.

FINANCING

We participate with most PPO dental insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, Cigna, Delta Dental, MetLife, & United Healthcare. We will always with you to help make sure that you are able to maximize your insurance benefits and minimize your out of pocket expenses. Give us a call today or stop by our front desk during to learn more or find out if we accept your dental insurance plan.

If you do not have insurance, payment is expected in full at the time of service. We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards.

We hope that you can choose the care you need when you need it and not when your insurance company dictates it. If you need extensive or long-term care, we offer CareCredit, a flexible payment program that allows you to pay for your dental treatments in monthly payments. CareCredit is ideal for co-payments, deductibles, and treatment not covered by insurance to help you finance your treatment. We’re always happy to answer your finance or insurance questions during your appointment or when you call us today!

Please feel free to call us at 860-721-7428 prior to your appointment if we can answer any of your questions regarding payment.

appointments

Patients are seen by appointment. We strongly discourage walk-ins. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that they extend us the same courtesy.

We reserve the right to charge patients for missed appointments or appointments canceled with less than 24-hour notice.

covid-19 updates

At Dental Associates of Wethersfield, your health and safety has always been our highest concern. Our dentists and team maintain the highest standards of sterilization and infection control, and we follow all guidelines from the CDC, ADA® and other groups in maintaining a safe and clean environment. We have also implemented a number of additional protocols to help protect you and our team from COVID-19, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and thorough cleanings of our office.

At our office, we follow the extensive infection control recommendations outlined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In fact, we go above and beyond many of these requirements because we are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our patients, as well as that of our team.

These infection control and safety measures include:

  • Eye protection for patients and team members
  • Disinfectant hand soap
  • Gloves and face masks
  • Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces
  • Sterilization of all equipment before every use

In addition, our team of professionals sterilizes all reusable equipment after each use, including handpieces. We use an autoclave, which is a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and pressure. When possible, we use disposable materials and tools to eliminate the risk of cross contamination through reuse.

Your health and comfort are our top priorities, and you can rest assured that we take all f the necessary steps to protect you and your family while you are with us. We welcome you to contact our office today to learn more about infection control and  safety or schedule your next visit with our dentists. We look forward to caring for you!
